Since 2012 we have been running Night Run Dublin on the last Sunday in April every year as a staple in the Irish running calendar. We were due to deliver the 9 th edition of the event in April 2020 and when you entered this event not many people could have ever envisioned that in April 2021 the event would still not have occurred for the second successive year due to the challenges presented by the COVID 19 global pandemic.
To offer all our registered runners the chance to complete their Kinetica Night Run Dublin 10k in a safe and socially distanced environment, our virtual Kinetica Night Run Dublin 10k event will take on the June Bank Holiday weekend, 5 th to 7 th June 2021. Further details will issue on this to each registered runner.
Over the coming days, we will be reaching out to all our runners with the following information:
1. Any runner who had signed up for the 2020 event and opted for the postal entry option will receive their Kinetica Night Run Dublin long sleeve t-shirt (in their indicated size) and Night Run Dublin medal by post
2. Any runner who did not sign up for the postal entry option will be contacted directly by email to provide their postal address and their preferred long sleeve t-shirt size and we will then post these items to each of these runners also.
If you would not like to take up the option of the long sleeve t-shirt, event medal and virtual run to replace the event, we would be happy to provide you with a refund of your entry fee. Please do contact us by Friday 28 th May at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to take this option.
As an event organiser, we incurred numerous fixed costs whether the event happened or not. By taking up the option of receiving the medal, t-shirt and virtual run this would go a long way to alleviating those costs in what was a particularly challenging year for everyone.
