With the health and safety of our community being the utmost priority, and based on the advice of relevant authorities and stakeholders in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, we can confirm that the Kinetica Night Run, that was originally scheduled for April 26th, cannot take place in 2020 and will return on the preliminary date of April 25th 2021.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly, and we have worked in the background collectively with our stakeholders to try find alternatives for running the event safely this year but unfortunately none were possible. The world is in an unprecedented situation grappling with the global pandemic of COVID-19 and public health is everyone's priority. We made the difficult decision in the best interest of the health and wellbeing of our runners, volunteers, supporters and wider community.
Every runner with a place in Kinetica Night Run 2020 will be automatically transferred into the rescheduled event on the preliminary date of April 25th 2021.
In addition to the automatic transfer to the 2021 event, we are excited to provide registered athletes with a free virtual Night Run challenge this year also.
